Jeon So-min Opens Up About Leaving Running Man and Dealing with Negative Comments

In the latest episode of TV Chosun's culinary show, 식객 허영만의 백반기행 (Chef Oh Young-man's Dining Journey), Jeon So-min shared her thoughts on her departure from Running Man and addressed the issue of baseless negative comments. During her food journey in Yongsan, Seoul, Jeon revealed that she started her career as a magazine model at the age of 19 and expressed her long-standing desire to become a singer, admitting, "I can't sing well, but if I were to be reborn, I would definitely want to try being a singer."
Reflecting on her time with Running Man, she mentioned, "I appeared twice before becoming a regular for seven years. The main hosts were all fixed members, and I played a character in the show. It was truly a happy workplace for me."
Regarding the negative comments she receives, Jeon stated, "The more attention you get, the more you can get hurt. While many people face harsh comments, if there’s a reason behind them, I would reflect deeply. However, I feel that many of the comments directed at me lack justification. I sometimes think that getting married soon might help me become a stronger person who can rely on someone else."
Her candid remarks have drawn attention, highlighting the pressures of fame and the impact of public scrutiny.
