Jeon Mi-do Wins Best Actor at 2024 SBS Drama Awards

Actress Jeon Mi-do has been awarded the Best Actor trophy in the mini-series action category at the 2024 SBS Drama Awards. The ceremony took place on December 21 at the SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, where her powerful performance in the drama was recognized.

Upon receiving the award, Jeon Mi-do humorously remarked, "I feel a bit dazed. I was slowly suffocating in my dress, but I truly appreciate being lifted up in this moment." She continued, sharing a memorable moment from a wrap party where the director mentioned that if they worked together again at SBS, she would be welcome to join either the B or C team. "He might not remember it due to being tipsy, but those words gave me great strength," she said.

Reflecting on the six months of filming, Jeon expressed, "There wasn't a single moment that wasn't enjoyable or happy. I am grateful to the director, the entire staff for creating a wonderful environment, and to my co-star Ji-sung for his support." She concluded her speech by thanking God for answering her prayers through this award, showcasing her faith.
