Jeon Hyun-moo Supports Kim Dae-ho's Freelance Declaration on 'I Live Alone'

On the January 31 episode of MBC's variety show I Live Alone (나혼자산다), Jeon Hyun-moo expressed his support for Kim Dae-ho's decision to become a freelancer. During the episode, Giann84 read fortunes using hwatu cards, starting with the youngest member, Lee Jang-woo. Giann84 cautiously interpreted the cards, warning, "A guest is coming, and it will rain, so it might be sad. Be careful in January." However, when Lee Jang-woo mentioned he had no sad experiences, Giann84 replied, "Sadness can pass, and money may come or go," prompting laughter from the group as they remarked, "That's just common sense, a bit unsettling."

Lee Jang-woo humorously urged Giann84 not to make things up, while Giann84 predicted a busy March and a lucrative April for Lee's business, saying, "This could be about your business or life; only good things are coming this year." The group laughed, calling him a con artist.

Giann84 then turned to Kim Dae-ho, who is not well-versed in fortune-telling, and said he would check his career fortune. After some dramatic buildup, Giann84 suggested that Kim might have some worries and was already prepared for an emergency, pulling out a hwatu card depicting a bird in flight.

Suddenly, Giann84 joked, "You’re leaving MBC," to which Kim Dae-ho responded, "Actually, your fortune is quite good," before revealing his intention to resign. Giann84's prediction about Kim's freelance declaration turned out to be accurate. Kim shared, "I told the company I would resign. I’ve thought about it a lot; it’s not just a decision I made on a whim."

Giann84, surprised by his own accurate reading, remarked, "I didn’t know I was this good at fortune-telling," while Kim noted that it showed how well Giann84 understood him.

Kim Dae-ho expressed that he had no regrets about his broadcasting career, and Jeon Hyun-moo, a senior freelance announcer, empathized, saying, "When I was at KBS, I felt like I had done everything except for the music shows. I want to carve out my own path and upgrade my life, taking on bigger challenges."

Park Na-rae acknowledged Kim's serious nature and how much he must have contemplated this decision, while Kookoon emphasized the importance of Kim's choice after dedicating 14 years to his company. Key also encouraged him, saying, "You’ll do great, better than anyone else."

Giann84 expressed gratitude for Kim sharing his thoughts, saying, "You’re a smart friend, and I believe you’ll do well." Lee Jang-woo added that leaving a company after 14 years is a significant decision, and he would support Kim no matter where he goes, saying, "Let’s go together."
