Jeon Hyun-moo Shines as a History Expert on Brain Academy

In the upcoming episode of Channel A's quiz show Brain Academy, airing on June 26, Jeon Hyun-moo will showcase his impressive knowledge of history, surprising even the renowned teacher Choi Tae-sung, known as the 'Korean History Legend.'

Choi Tae-sung will serve as the history master for this episode, presenting quizzes centered around the theme of 'How did the Joseon Dynasty influence modern South Korea?' He begins by stating, 'There is a crucial history we must examine, and that is Joseon.' He then poses a challenging question: 'What was the biggest difference between Goryeo and Joseon?'

Lee Sang-yeop, who has earned a Level 1 certification in Korean history, quickly responds with, 'Buddhism! The policy of suppressing Buddhism in favor of Confucianism.' Choi then follows up with another surprise question: 'What is the core of Confucian politics?' This time, even Lee Sang-yeop struggles to answer. However, Jeon Hyun-moo confidently shouts out the correct answer, earning a respectful 'Wow!' from Choi Tae-sung. Ha Seok-jin also expresses admiration, noting, 'Isn't it amazing? You've been studying Korean history for over 40 years, right?'

As Jeon Hyun-moo continues to impress, Choi expresses his excitement, saying, 'Why are you so good today? I have a feeling something great will happen!' Jeon humbly attributes his newfound interest in history to aging and resembling his father.
