Jeon Hyun-moo Reflects on His Acting Skills Gained from Academy Days on Problematic Men Reboot

In the premiere episode of tvN's new variety show, Problematic Men Reboot: Math Edition, aired on June 23, Jeon Hyun-moo shared how attending academies during his school years helped him improve his acting skills. The show aims to restore the nation's confidence in math through intense brain battles among the new cast members.

Jeon, a graduate of Yonsei University and an alumnus of a prestigious foreign language high school, recalled, "I studied in Mokdong, where the competition was fierce, especially with my family involved. I attended many academies and remember taking a lot of van rides to them. I can still picture the Mokdong 13-14 district tutoring centers."

He humorously noted, "Everyone except me was good at math; I excelled in English. So, what I learned back then was acting. I pretended to understand things to avoid embarrassment. If I struggled to recall something while writing, someone would ask, 'You don’t know this? Are you not going to college?' I would respond with a fake understanding, acting like I knew it to avoid falling behind, especially since my mom invested money in my education."

Problematic Men Reboot: Math Edition is a storytelling quiz show that analyzes the world from a mathematical perspective, offering fun and easy ways to solve math problems. To help restore the public's confidence in math, renowned instructor Jeong Seung-jae will provide special math lectures. The show features Jeon Hyun-moo, along with caster Bae Seong-jae, science brain John Park, versatile idol Suho, and survival show champion Kim Kyu-min, among others.
