Jeon Hyun-moo Meets Hong Joo-yeon Amid Dating Rumors on 'Boss's Ears Are Donkey Ears'

On December 8, 2024, Jeon Hyun-moo met with Hong Joo-yeon, the announcer at the center of recent dating rumors, during the KBS 2TV show '사장님 귀는 당나귀 귀' (Boss's Ears Are Donkey Ears). In this episode, Jeon took on the role of a mentor for junior announcers.
Following a flurry of dating rumors last week, Jeon addressed the speculation, saying, "I often find myself in dating rumors, and while I used to find it amusing, now I worry about how it might affect the other person. I hope they don't suffer any consequences from it."
During the show, Jeon was invited by fellow announcer Eom Ji-in to meet with junior colleagues, surprising everyone with a bag full of gifts. The other MCs jokingly suggested that his generous gesture was due to his rumored relationship with Hong Joo-yeon.
When Jeon mentioned the recent article about their relationship, Hong playfully responded, "I actually watched from afar even in Paris," adding to the lighthearted atmosphere. Jeon also provided focused advice to Hong, who has a keen interest in sports, prompting the other MCs to comment on the different way he looked at her, reigniting the dating rumors.
In another segment, North Korean defector Lee Soon-sil introduced new dumpling recipes for the winter, including clam dumplings and extremely spicy dumplings, while her rival, Director Jang, presented cheese-filled kimbap dumplings and rainbow dumplings. The tasting panel, divided into North and South, began sampling the dishes, leading to mixed reviews. Ultimately, the kimbap dumpling won first place with a score of 54 out of 60, while the spicy dumpling came in last, leaving Lee Soon-sil humorously dissatisfied.
In a separate storyline, Jeong Ji-sun met with chef Lim Tae-hoon from '철가방' (Iron Bag), expressing his ambition to create a female chef group, aiming to recruit Lim as the first member. Jeong praised Lim for gaining recognition thanks to his support and expressed confidence in their potential collaboration. Lim shared that his restaurant attracts customers from various countries, including Taiwan and Indonesia, which impressed Jeong.
As they discussed their competitive cooking styles, Lim playfully acknowledged Jeong's skills, while Jeong confidently claimed he would win. Lim treated Jeong to his signature dishes, including palbochae, lamb fritters, and Dongpo pork. Jeong recognized Lim's self-taught journey and proposed bringing him into his group, but Lim hesitated, suggesting they discuss it later.
