Jeon Hyun-moo Delivers Heartfelt Acceptance Speech at the 2024 MBC Entertainment Awards

At the 2024 MBC Entertainment Awards held on January 28, Jeon Hyun-moo expressed his heartfelt gratitude during his acceptance speech. The event was hosted by Jeon Hyun-moo, Yoon Eun-hye, and Lee Jang-woo, kicking off with a celebratory performance of 'Dance with DOC' by Kim Dae-ho, Park Ji-hyun, and Lim Woo-il.
Opening the ceremony, Jeon Hyun-moo wished everyone a Happy New Year, noting the special occasion of celebrating during the Seollal holiday. Yoon Eun-hye and Lee Jang-woo joined him in greeting the audience warmly.
Yoo Jae-suk, who received the 'Entertainer of the Year' award, expressed his sincere thanks, particularly to the production team and cast of 'How Do You Play?' for their hard work throughout the year. He acknowledged the support of his fellow cast members Kim Jong-min, DinDin, and Kwang-kyu, stating, "This year marks the fifth anniversary of 'How Do You Play?' and we strive to bring laughter to weekend evenings. I hope to continue delivering joy in 2024."
In his closing remarks, Jeon Hyun-moo expressed his gratitude for being nominated for the top award, attributing his success to shows like 'I Live Alone' and 'My Little Television.' He reflected on his journey, saying, "I grew up watching MBC entertainment shows, so today feels like a birthday for me. Just being here is a blessing."
He also shared his admiration for fellow nominee Yoo Jae-suk, noting the pressure of competing against such a strong contender. Lee Jang-woo, who won the Multi-Player Award, remarked on the challenges of hosting, admitting that what seemed easy was actually quite difficult.
Upon receiving the prestigious award, Jeon Hyun-moo expressed disbelief, stating, "I still can't believe I've received my third award from MBC." He reminisced about his childhood dreams of making people happy through television, acknowledging that he has always maintained his original passion for entertainment.
Jeon Hyun-moo concluded his speech by expressing his love for his parents, something he had not done in 20 years, and thanked Yoo Jae-suk for his support. He promised to continue working hard to bring joy to his audience, emphasizing the importance of healthy, uplifting entertainment in today's dopamine-driven world.
