Jennie to Release First Solo Album 'Ruby' on March 7
Global artist Jennie (제니) is set to make a significant mark in the music industry with the release of her debut solo studio album, 'Ruby' (루비), on March 7. According to OA Entertainment (ODDATELIER), the album will feature a total of 15 tracks across various genres, including her previously released single 'Mantra' (만트라), which debuted in October last year.
'Ruby' (루비) will also showcase collaborations with renowned artists such as Childish Gambino, Doecheii, Dominic Fike, Dua Lipa, FKJ, and Kali Uchis, promising to captivate audiences worldwide once again.
Following the release of 'Mantra,' Jennie achieved remarkable success, topping the iTunes 'Top Songs' chart in 47 countries, including the United States, Brazil, Singapore, the Philippines, and Mexico. The track also made its way onto the Billboard Hot 100 chart for two consecutive weeks, marking her as the first K-pop female solo artist to reach the top of the U.S. iTunes 'Top Songs' chart, igniting a global 'Mantra' craze.
With her comeback generating immense excitement among fans worldwide, anticipation is high for what Jennie will bring to the table with 'Ruby' (루비). Additionally, she is scheduled to perform solo at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California, on April 13 and 20, further heightening fan interest in her upcoming stage presence.
