Jennie (제니) from BLACKPINK made an appearance on the YouTube channel '쑥쑥' on January 30, where she engaged in a lively discussion with Yang Se-chan (양세찬) about the promotional direction for her first solo album. This marks their first meeting in a year since the conclusion of the tvN variety show '아파트404'. During the episode, Jennie revealed that she has been preparing for her album since filming '아파트404', stating, "I have been working on it for a year, and it's finally coming out." She expressed her eagerness to create music that resonates with her fans, admitting, "The world has changed so much, and I want to know what my fans truly enjoy."
When asked by Yang Se-chan if her activities would be limited to overseas, Jennie responded, "I’m trying to split my schedule as much as possible." She mentioned her upcoming performance at Coachella in April and announced that her single 'Love Hangover' (러브 행오버) will be released on January 31, with her first solo album 'Ruby' (루비) set to drop on March 7.
