Jennie Makes History as the First Star of Billboard's Iconic Stage

Global artist Jennie has become the inaugural feature of Billboard's Iconic Stage. On March 12, Billboard and Billboard Korea released a video on their official YouTube channel showcasing Jennie's performance for the Iconic Stage.

Titled 'JENNIE’S ICONIC STAGE: Ruby,' the video highlights the production process of Jennie's first solo studio album, 'Ruby,' along with performances of the title track 'like JENNIE' and the follow-up song 'Handlebars.'

In discussing 'Ruby,' Jennie expressed that creating the album felt like learning to walk for the first time, emphasizing the importance of connecting with her inner self. She stated, "I paid attention to every detail, from the music to the visuals, styling, message, and lyrics."

Jennie described 'like JENNIE' as one of the most fun songs on the album, saying, "It lifts my spirits and makes me want to dance every time I hear it. I thought it was a great way to introduce my album to the world."

The performance featured a sweet and lyrical rendition of 'Handlebars,' followed by a dynamic and powerful showcase of 'like JENNIE,' highlighting her versatility.

Additionally, Jennie is set to hold 'The Ruby Experience' show at Inspire Arena on March 15 to celebrate the release of 'Ruby.'
