Jennie Achieves Personal Best on Billboard Hot 100 with 'Love Hangover'
Jennie (제니), a member of the popular group BLACKPINK, has set a new personal record on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. According to the latest chart released by Billboard on February 15, her single 'Love Hangover (feat. Dominic Fike)' has debuted at number 96, marking her highest position on the chart to date.
Upon its release, 'Love Hangover (feat. Dominic Fike)' quickly climbed to the top of the iTunes 'Top Songs' chart in 34 countries and regions, including Brazil, Indonesia, Mexico, the Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam. It also entered the UK Official Singles Chart at number 64, showcasing its global appeal.
This track is one of the pre-release songs from Jennie's upcoming first solo studio album, 'Ruby' (루비), which is set to be released on March 7. Both 'Love Hangover (feat. Dominic Fike)' and the previously released single 'Mantra' (만트라) have charted on the Billboard Hot 100, increasing anticipation for the album.
'Ruby' features a total of 15 tracks, showcasing Jennie's diverse musical potential, including genres represented by songs like 'Mantra', 'ZEN', and 'Love Hangover'. The album also includes collaborations with renowned artists such as Childish Gambino, Doecheii, Dominic Fike, Dua Lipa, FKJ, and Kali Uchis, further heightening global fan expectations.
To celebrate the release of 'Ruby', Jennie will host 'The Ruby Experience' shows in Los Angeles, New York, and Seoul. The event will kick off at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on March 6-7, followed by performances at Radio City Music Hall in New York on March 10 and Inspire Arena on March 15.
