JDB Entertainment CEO Resigns Amid Affair Allegations with Girl Group Member

The CEO of JDB Entertainment, referred to as Mr. A, has stepped down from his position following allegations of an affair with a member of a girl group. On June 17, the company released a statement confirming that they are currently verifying the facts surrounding the recent claims. They noted that Mr. A has expressed his intention to resign and apologized for any distress caused by the situation.

The controversy began when a social media account on X (formerly Twitter) posted allegations suggesting that Mr. A and girl group member B were involved in an inappropriate relationship. The account shared multiple photos and videos showing a man, claimed to be Mr. A, embracing or holding hands with a woman late at night.

Mr. A, who has a background in accounting, was one of the investors when JDB Entertainment was founded in April 2015 and took on the role of CEO in 2016. He has made several appearances on MBC's '전지적 참견 시점' (My Little Television). Reports indicate that he is married and has children.

JDB Entertainment manages a roster of comedians, including Kim Dae-hee, Kim Jun-ho, Yoo Min-sang, Kim Ji-min, Kim Min-kyung, Hong Yoon-hwa, Kim Min-ki, Shin Gi-ru, Oh Na-mi, Hong In-kyu, and Park So-young.
