JAY B Surprises Fans with GOT7 Comeback Announcement During Solo Concert

JAY B has successfully wrapped up his solo concert, 'TAPE: RE LOAD', held on December 7 at KBS Arena in Gangseo, Seoul. During the event, he made a surprise announcement about GOT7's full group comeback, set for January 2025, adding excitement to the year ahead for fans.

Following the release of his first solo album, 'Archive 1: [Road Runner]', last month, JAY B kicked off his concert tour with a vibrant performance that showcased his unique energy and fresh perspective. The concert featured a variety of well-crafted live performances that received enthusiastic responses from the audience.

Notably, fellow GOT7 members Mark and Youngjae attended the concert to support JAY B. During the encore, he performed several GOT7 songs and shared, "I got permission from the members to say this. I’ve been working hard to make this happen, and I think it’s okay to share this much: GOT7 will be making a full group comeback in January. We are working hard on the concert plans, but nothing is confirmed yet."

Opening the show with 'PRESENT', JAY B expressed his excitement, saying, "I said I would come in the fall, but I ended up coming when the first snow fell. I’m sorry for making you wait so long, but I’m happy to see so many of you here today. I feel nervous and excited to be on stage." He engaged with fans throughout the concert, performing songs like 'FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH', 'B.T.W', and 'THE WAY WE ARE'.

The concert also featured new tracks from his first album, including 'IF YOU', 'CHOSEN', 'MAKE ME RIGHT', and more, with many songs being performed live for the first time. JAY B encouraged fans to enjoy the different vocal tones and mixes in each track.

In a relaxed encore atmosphere, he performed over eight songs, delivering a total of more than 30 tracks flawlessly. His performance included striking visuals, such as a jacket that revealed his waist and impressive breakdancing moves.

Concluding the concert, JAY B thanked fans, stating, "Thanks to you all, I feel like I’ve had an unforgettable 2024. I’m working hard to meet you more often next year, and I hope today becomes a precious memory for you too."

Fans actively responded to the new songs with cheers and even organized a slogan event at the end of the concert, expressing their love for JAY B. Following his successful solo concert, JAY B is set to continue his music and performance activities, further solidifying his identity and connection with fans.

JAY B will hold his 'TAPE: RE LOAD' concert in Bangkok, Thailand, at IMPACT Arena on January 11 and 12, 2025.
