Japanese Boy Group ONE OR EIGHT Makes Debut on Korean Music Shows

The Japanese boy group ONE OR EIGHT is set to make their mark on Korean music broadcasts. Affiliated with Avex, the group kicked off their Korean activities with a global showcase for their new song 'DSTM' on March 26 at Ilji Art Hall in Gangnam, Seoul. Following this, they will appear on various music programs, starting with Mnet's 엠카운트다운 (M Countdown) on March 27, followed by KBS2's 뮤직뱅크 (Music Bank), MBC's 쇼! 음악중심 (Show! Music Core), and SBS's 인기가요 (Inkigayo). Fans are eagerly anticipating their powerful performances of 'DSTM', which was released on March 19.

ONE OR EIGHT consists of eight members: 레이아 (REIA), 미즈키 (MIZUKI), 유가 (YUGA), 소우마 (SOUMA), 츠바사 (TSUBASA), 료타 (RYOTA), 타케루 (TAKERU), and 네오 (NEO). The group's name is derived from a Japanese idiom meaning 'one or nothing'. After training in both Japan and Korea, they made a stunning debut last August with the single '돈트 텔 노바디 (Don't Tell Nobody)'.

Their latest track 'DSTM' features catchy rap and melodies, along with hip-hop beats that reflect current American trends. The song's theme emphasizes enjoying the present without being swayed by others, encapsulated in the line, "As long as the music continues, we will not stop." Notably, the track samples Rihanna's hit '돈트 스톱 더 뮤직 (Don't Stop The Music)', with production by Stargate, who collaborated with young American writers to modernize the original while retaining its essence.

With extensive training and support from top producers, ONE OR EIGHT is poised to captivate audiences in Korea and beyond. Their new song 'DSTM' is available on various music streaming platforms, and fans can catch their dazzling performance on Mnet's 엠카운트다운 (M Countdown) airing at 6 PM on March 27.
