Jang Jae-ho Unveils His Dark Side in 'Squid Game' Season 2

Actor Jang Jae-ho has revealed a hidden side of himself in the recently released Netflix series 'Squid Game' Season 2, which premiered on December 26. He plays a soldier who confronts No-eul (portrayed by Park Gyu-young), standing out among the uniformed pink guards with a striking presence.
'Squid Game' Season 2 follows Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae), who returns to the deadly games seeking revenge, and his intense rivalry with the Front Man (Lee Byung-hun). Jang Jae-ho portrays a member of the soldier faction involved in organ trafficking, using violence against No-eul, who refuses to cooperate, showcasing a chilling transformation into a villainous character.
Unlike the other soldiers who conceal their faces and emotions, Jang Jae-ho's character expresses rage towards No-eul, creating a haunting atmosphere with his intense gaze. He perfectly embodies the character's malevolence, marking his debut as a 'villain soldier.'
Jang Jae-ho made his acting debut in 2008 with the play 'The Regret in That Blanket' and has since showcased his versatile acting skills across various genres, including plays like 'Welcome to Oasis' and dramas such as 'The Vegetable Store' and 'My Spy Who Loved Me.' He gained notoriety for his role as Lee Jae-won, a shameless slacker involved in an affair in the recently concluded tvN drama 'Marry My Husband.'
Meanwhile, 'Squid Game' Season 2 has made a significant impact, ranking first in 93 countries immediately after its release, creating a global sensation.
