IVE's An Yujin and Jang Wonyoung to Host Year-End Music Festivals

IVE members An Yujin (안유진) and Jang Wonyoung (장원영) are set to take the stage as hosts for major year-end music festivals in South Korea. According to industry insiders on November 27, Jang Wonyoung will serve as the MC for the upcoming '2024 Music Bank Global Festival' in Korea.

The 'Music Bank Global Festival' is a rebranded version of the previous 'Gayo Daejeon,' expanding its reach to a global audience. Last year, the festival was held at KBS Hall in Yeouido, South Korea, and at Saitama Super Arena in Japan, with Jang Wonyoung and Rowoon (로운) hosting in Korea, while Rowoon, Go Min-shi (고민시), and Lee Young-ji (이영지) took the reins in Japan.

This year, Jang Wonyoung will again host the 'Music Bank Global Festival' in Korea. She previously gained acclaim for her polished and stable hosting skills as the 37th MC of KBS2's 'Music Bank' in 2021. Following her role in the 2022 'Gayo Daejeon,' she continues to lead the year-end music festivities with her return to the '2023 Music Bank Global Festival' and now the upcoming event.

Meanwhile, An Yujin will take on the role of MC for the SBS 'Gayo Daejeon,' scheduled for December 25 at the Inspire Arena in Incheon, Yeongjongdo. An Yujin has been a consistent presence as an MC since March 2022 and also hosted the '2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer' held in July. She will be joined by NCT's Doyoung (도영) and Tomorrow X Together's Yeonjun (연준) for this event.

With Jang Wonyoung and An Yujin representing IVE as the 'Annyungz,' they are set to dominate the year-end music festival scene. Additionally, Jang Wonyoung will also host the '2024 Asia Artist Awards' on December 27 at the Impact Challenger Hall in Bangkok, Thailand, alongside Zero Base One's Seong Han-bin (성한빈) and actor Ryu Jun-yeol (류준열).

In other news, IVE recently won several awards at the '2024 MAMA' Chapter 1 held on November 22 at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan, including 'CJ Global Performance,' 'Fans' Choice of the Year,' and 'Favorite Global Performer Female.'
