IVE Tops Oricon Chart with New Album 'Be Alright'

K-pop sensation IVE (안유진, 가을, 레이, 장원영, 리즈, 이서) continues to make waves globally as they clinch the top spot on the Oricon chart in Japan. According to the latest chart released on July 30, 2025, their third Japanese album, 'Be Alright', debuted at number one on the Daily Album Ranking right after its release.

Previously, IVE achieved a similar feat with their second Japanese album, 'Alive', released in August last year. With 'Be Alright', their first new release in approximately 11 months, the group has once again demonstrated their unwavering popularity in Japan, solidifying their status as a 'global icon'.

The album 'Be Alright' features five tracks, including the title track 'Be Alright', the OST 'DARE ME' from the NTV drama 'Dame Mane! - Unpopular Talent, Managing!', and Japanese versions of songs from their second album 'IVE SWITCH' such as 'Accendio', 'Blue Heart', and 'WOW'.

The title track 'Be Alright', which was pre-released on July 16, carries a message of embracing change and moving forward. Following its release, it quickly entered the real-time and daily Top 100 charts on Line Music in Japan, as well as Billboard Japan's Hot 100, Hot Shot Songs, and Download Songs charts, signaling a positive response to their local activities.

Since their official debut in Japan in October 2022, IVE has made significant strides, including being the first K-pop group to hold a concert at K-Arena Yokohama during their first world tour 'SHOW WHAT I HAVE'. They also performed at the iconic Tokyo Dome, attracting around 95,000 fans over two days, showcasing their strong influence in Japan.

In April, they connected with approximately 100,000 fans during their fan concert tour 'IVE SCOUT' in Japan, and they are set to appear at the prestigious 'Rock in Japan Festival 2025' in September, further proving their popularity in the region.

With 'Be Alright', IVE captivates global fans once again with their confident and assertive charm. As they achieve remarkable results across various charts, the extent of the 'IVE syndrome' sweeping through Japan is eagerly anticipated.

Meanwhile, IVE is gearing up for a domestic comeback at the end of August, intensifying their preparations.
