IVE Set to Make a Splash with New Mini Album 'IVE EMPATHY'

K-pop sensation IVE (안유진, 가을, 레이, 장원영, 리즈, 이서) is poised to solidify their status as a 'K-pop game changer' in 2025. According to their agency, Starship Entertainment, IVE will release their third mini album, 'IVE EMPATHY', on February 3 at 6 PM (KST). This marks their return after approximately nine months since their last release, 'IVE SWITCH', in April 2024.

The new album features a total of six tracks, including double title songs 'REBEL HEART' and 'ATTITUDE', along with 'FLU', 'You Wanna Cry', 'Thank U', and 'TKO'. IVE has already generated excitement by pre-releasing 'REBEL HEART', which has achieved five music show wins and caused significant shifts in both domestic and international music charts, hinting at another wave of the 'IVE syndrome'.

After successfully completing an 11-month world tour, performing 37 shows across 28 cities in 19 countries, IVE is expected to showcase their refined musical abilities through this new release. As they continue to evolve into a 'complete group', anticipation builds for their upcoming comeback.

### Expanding from 'Me' to 'Us'... IVE's New Style

Since their debut, IVE has consistently explored themes derived from 'self', maintaining their original color while seamlessly blending various genres. With 'IVE EMPATHY', they aim to expand their focus from 'me' to 'us', emphasizing 'empathy' while retaining their identity of 'self-confidence'. The previously released 'REBEL HEART' provided warmth and comfort to fans, and the new tracks will further explore the narratives of 'me' and 'us', engaging listeners on a deeper emotional level.

### "I'm that attitude"... 'ATTITUDE' to Convey Self-Confidence

The double title track 'ATTITUDE' addresses the idea that the only thing one can change in an unchangeable situation is their own 'attitude'. Sampling Suzanne Vega's 'Tom’s Diner', the song features a catchy retro vibe. The teaser for the 'ATTITUDE' music video, released on February 1, revealed captivating lyrics like "What’s the point of shrinking back / Luck is always on my side" and the catchy phrase "I'm that attitude", showcasing IVE's unique charm filled with self-assurance.

### Limitless Musical Growth: Live Skills and Member Contributions

Since their first world tour last year, IVE has demonstrated remarkable growth in their vocal, performance, and stage presence, establishing themselves as a true 'hexagonal group'. Following their success with 'REBEL HEART', their encore performances showcased their impressive live skills, earning praise from K-pop fans. Attention is now on the stages they will present during the 'ATTITUDE' promotions.

Additionally, members Jang Won-young and Liz have participated in writing the lyrics for 'ATTITUDE' and the track 'Thank U', respectively. This marks Jang Won-young's first time writing for a title track and Liz's debut as a lyricist, raising expectations for their new musical contributions.

Set to be released on February 3, 'IVE EMPATHY' is produced under the guidance of Starship Entertainment's chief producer Seo Hyun-joo and the A&R team, who have focused on finding songs that suit each member's vocal range and tone. Collaborating with various songwriters through a 'song camp', they have crafted distinctive tracks that highlight IVE's stylish lyrical approach. With strong support behind them, fans eagerly await IVE's journey as they continue to evolve while maintaining their core identity.

Fans can look forward to IVE's third mini album 'IVE EMPATHY' and the double title track 'ATTITUDE', available on various online and offline platforms starting February 3 at 6 PM (KST).
