IVE Achieves Five Wins with 'REBEL HEART' Ahead of Comeback

K-pop sensation IVE (안유진, 가을, 레이, 장원영, 리즈, 이서) has made headlines by securing five music show wins with their pre-release track 'REBEL HEART'. According to Mnet's official SNS on January 30, IVE claimed the top spot on 'M Countdown' for the last week of January. The broadcast was replaced with a highlight show, and the winner was announced at the end of the program.

This remarkable achievement marks IVE's second consecutive week at number one on 'M Countdown', even amidst the show's temporary hiatus, and sets a record for five wins with a pre-release track.

In a statement through their agency Starship Entertainment, IVE expressed their gratitude, saying, "It feels like a surprise gift just before our comeback. We’ve had so many happy moments while promoting 'REBEL HEART', and we are incredibly thankful for this win." They added, "Starting February 3, we will bring even more happiness to our fans, DIVE. The title track 'ATTITUDE', which will be revealed then, is a song that all of us members really love. We hope DIVE will look forward to it."

Released on January 13, 'REBEL HEART' serves as the pre-release title track for IVE's upcoming third mini album 'IVE EMPATHY', set to drop on February 3. Since its release, 'REBEL HEART' has climbed to the top of major music charts both domestically and internationally. As of January 28, it ranked 51st on Billboard's Global Excl. U.S. chart and 97th on the Billboard Global 200 chart.

In addition to its impressive chart performance, the 'REBEL HEART' challenge has gained significant attention. On the day of its release, the members' dance challenge videos on TikTok garnered nearly 24.96 million views from just two posts. The chemistry between the members was highlighted in an emoji challenge, and various well-known bands in Korea participated in a band challenge, singing the chorus of 'REBEL HEART', which received enthusiastic responses from global music fans.

As IVE prepares for their official comeback on February 3 with the release of 'IVE EMPATHY' and the double title track 'ATTITUDE', anticipation continues to build among fans.
