IU Praises Park Bo-gum on Salon Drip 2

Singer and actress IU made an appearance on the web variety show Salon Drip 2, which aired on YouTube on March 11, 2025. During the episode, she discussed her recent activities and her new Netflix series, 'You’re So Not Worth It' (폭싹 속았수다), with host comedian Jang Do-yeon.

When talking about her co-star Park Bo-gum, IU described him as a combination of kindness and hard work, stating, "If someone says they dislike Park Bo-gum after working with him, that person must be strange." She went on to commend his impressive stamina, saying, "All kindness is rooted in physical strength. No matter how tough things got, I would ask him, 'Aren't you tired?' and he would respond, 'I’m fine, Ji-eun. Thank you for worrying about me.'"

IU recounted a particularly challenging scene that required multiple takes, which left her exhausted. Despite her fatigue, she noticed Park Bo-gum whispering to the director, apologizing for not performing better. This left her in awe, as she reflected, "Why am I not like that?"

Jang Do-yeon jokingly suggested that IU should spread the word about Park Bo-gum's character, to which IU replied, "If it were another friend, I might joke about it, but not with Park Bo-gum. Didn’t I cry when I was here?"
