I.O.I Discusses Reunion for 10th Anniversary
The popular girl group I.O.I is currently in discussions about a potential reunion to celebrate their 10th anniversary. A representative from one of the members' agencies stated on May 15 that while nothing is confirmed yet, there have been talks among the members about collaborating on a new song project for this milestone. Earlier that day, a media outlet reported that I.O.I is planning to release new music next year to mark their debut anniversary. According to the report, the members initially expressed their desire to reunite and communicated this to their respective agencies, which have since begun discussions to coordinate their plans. I.O.I was formed through the first season of Mnet's 'Produce 101' in 2016 and gained immense popularity during their active years with hits like 'Dream Girls,' 'Whatta Man,' 'Very Very Very,' and 'Downpour.' The group disbanded in January 2017 after their final concert, with members pursuing solo careers in music and acting.
