Interview: Coupang Play's 'College War' Season 2 Maintains Top Spot!

Coupang Play's variety show '대학전쟁' (College War) Season 2 continues to dominate the platform, following the success of its first season. The production team recently shared their thoughts and expressed their hopes for the remaining episodes.

On November 21, an interview was held in Gangnam, Seoul, to celebrate the airing of Season 2. Present were PD Heo Beom-hoon and writer Kim Jeong-seon, who were instrumental in the show's first season's success.

'College War' is a reality survival program where the top 1% of South Korea's brightest students compete using only their intellect. Contestants include 'true geniuses' with near-perfect scores on the national college entrance exam, top 10 students from the Korea Science Academy, math prodigies who can memorize pi to 500 digits, and winners of international Olympiads, all vying to overturn the rankings established in Season 1.

PD Heo and writer Kim expressed their gratitude for the continued interest in Season 2, stating, "We are thrilled that viewers are still engaged. We hope that 'College War' can serve as a benchmark for identifying smart students in South Korea."

With an upgraded format promising even more thrilling brain battles, 'College War' Season 2 airs every Friday at 8 PM on Coupang Play.
