Inkigayo Canceled on December 8 Due to Martial Law Impact

SBS's music program Inkigayo (인기가요) will not air on December 8 due to the effects of the martial law declared by President Yoon Suk-yeol. An SBS representative confirmed on December 6 that the cancellation is indeed accurate. The programming change is linked to the nationwide martial law that President Yoon announced on December 3 from the presidential office in Yongsan, Seoul. However, following a unanimous vote in the National Assembly early on December 4 to lift the martial law, President Yoon declared its end around 4:30 AM that same day. Despite the lifting of martial law, the political situation remains chaotic, leading to significant adjustments in entertainment programming.
