Influencer Kim Ji-hye Shares Heartfelt Experience After Fall During Twin Pregnancy

Kim Ji-hye, a former member of the group Cats and now a popular influencer, recently opened up about a distressing fall she experienced while pregnant with twins. Fortunately, she has reassured her followers that her babies are healthy, bringing relief and support from many fans.

Kim Ji-hye married Choi Seong-wook, a member of the group Paran, in 2019. After six years of struggling with infertility, she successfully conceived twins through in vitro fertilization, receiving warm congratulations from many. She had been enjoying a joyful pregnancy journey, sharing updates filled with happiness and gratitude.

On May 12, she took to her social media to recount her harrowing experience, starting her post with the phrase "a nightmare-like dawn." She described how she lost her balance while walking slowly at home and fell hard on her stomach. "In that moment, I tried to brace myself with my arms, but my knee was bleeding, and I couldn't move my arms, so I just held onto my belly," she revealed.

In a panic, her husband, Choi Seong-wook, immediately called for help, but due to the early hour, getting to a hospital was challenging. "I was told there were no doctors available in the obstetrics department or that there were no open slots. It was even harder since it was the weekend," she explained. "I was desperate to know the condition of the babies and even considered skipping an X-ray at the orthopedic clinic."

Eventually, after a long night, Kim Ji-hye found a nearby hospital in the morning. She expressed her overwhelming relief, saying, "The moment I heard the babies' heartbeats, I burst into tears. I can't describe how relieved I was to hear they were healthy." Despite her emotional turmoil and feelings of guilt for not being able to protect her children, she emphasized the importance of sharing her story to warn others who are undergoing IVF or are pregnant to be cautious.

She particularly noted, "Pregnant women often cannot receive proper medication, so we must be extra careful. At home, avoid wearing slippers and walk slowly." She concluded her post by stating, "I am okay now. My arm is still immobile, but I will be resting and recovering with my family. Above all, I am grateful that the twins are healthy." In response, netizens expressed their relief, saying, "I'm so glad the babies are healthy!" and "Pregnant women really need to be careful... I’m pregnant too, and your post has made me more aware." Many praised her resilience and wished her a safe delivery, acknowledging the challenges she faced during her pregnancy.
