Incheon Police Arrest Man for Drug Offenses

On January 20, 2025, the Incheon Namdong Police announced the arrest of a man in his 40s, referred to as A, on charges of violating drug control laws. A is accused of using methamphetamine (필로폰) at an undisclosed location and storing drugs in his vehicle. The police initiated a pursuit after receiving a report around 11 PM on January 14, apprehending A on the roadside in Namdong-gu, Incheon. They also seized methamphetamine from his car. A tested positive for drugs during a preliminary police drug test. Authorities have collected hair and urine samples from A for further analysis at the National Forensic Service. The police plan to investigate the specifics of A's drug use.
