Im Seong-hoon Returns to Yonsei University Stage After 51 Years

Television personality Im Seong-hoon has recently captured attention online after performing at his alma mater, Yonsei University. On June 8, he took the stage at the university's outdoor theater during the celebration of its 140th anniversary and the 100th anniversary of the Yonsei-Korea sports rivalry, with the event titled 'I Love Yonsei!'.
In the shared video, Im Seong-hoon can be seen engaging the audience by waving his hands and encouraging their cheers. He struck various dynamic poses in response to the applause from his juniors, creating an energetic atmosphere.
A graduate of Yonsei University with a degree in History, Im Seong-hoon served as the cheerleading captain during his time there in 1974. At 74 years old, he returned to the stage of his alma mater after 51 years, showcasing impressive agility and receiving enthusiastic responses from the crowd, who reciprocated with loud cheers.
Viewers of the video expressed admiration in the comments, noting his remarkable physical condition and flexibility at his age, with remarks such as, 'His determination and body management are incredible,' and 'It's amazing to see such flexibility at 74.'
Born in 1950, Im Seong-hoon debuted as a singer in 1970 before transitioning to comedy in 1974. He is particularly well-known as the host of the show 'Moment of Truth! This Is the World,' which he co-hosted with Park So-hyun from 1998 for 26 years until he stepped down last year.
