Im Ji-soo Reflects on Breakup with Song Beom-keun on '20th Century Hit Song'

On the February 7 episode of KBS JOY's '20th Century Hit Song' (이십세기 힛-트쏭), Im Ji-soo indirectly shared her feelings about her recent breakup with soccer player Song Beom-keun. The 251st episode featured a segment titled 'Refreshing Soda Hit Song' aimed at relieving viewers' stress. When asked about moments when she wanted to vent her frustrations, Im Ji-soo humorously responded, 'When Kim Hee-chul leaves work faster than anyone else' and 'When only Yein is called pretty,' hinting at her jealousy.

The episode also highlighted the song 'Another Truth (또 다른 진심)' by Novasonic, a track from their debut album released in 1999. This new metal genre song, created by members of the group Next and Kim Jin-pyo, gained attention for its unique blend of band sound and rapid-fire rap. As the lyrics of 'Don't Joke' repeated, Kim Hee-chul remarked that it expressed his thoughts about Im Ji-soo, calling it a song that 'shouts my inner feelings.'

As heavy metal songs with high-pitched vocals were introduced, Im Ji-soo commented, 'It relieves stress but also awakens me,' adding, 'I feel like I'm becoming a fool.' Given that reports of her breakup with Song Beom-keun surfaced after nine months of public dating, many speculate that she was indirectly expressing her feelings.

Previously, on the February 1 episode of MBC's 'How Do You Play?' (놀면 뭐하니?), Im Ji-soo also indirectly acknowledged her breakup when the members mentioned Song Beom-keun.
