Im Hero Supporters Donate 10 Million Won to Milal Welfare Foundation

The fan club of singer Im Young-woong, known as 'Im Hero Supporters' (임히어로서포터즈), has made a generous donation of 10 million won to the Milal Welfare Foundation (밀알복지재단). This contribution was announced on December 21, 2024, and is intended to support medical expenses for children with disabilities who are facing financial hardships.
In light of the year-end season, the members of Im Hero Supporters pooled their resources to provide this donation in the name of their beloved artist, Im Young-woong. The funds will be utilized in the foundation's initiatives aimed at assisting disabled children who are unable to afford necessary treatments.
Oh Se-wook, the head of the Gyeonggi region office at Milal Welfare Foundation, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the warm generosity and positive influence demonstrated by Im Hero Supporters. He stated, "This donation will bring significant hope to disabled children and their families who urgently need treatment."
A representative from Im Hero Supporters shared, "We wanted to offer a small helping hand to disabled children in difficult situations as the year comes to a close. We hope that this precious support from fans of Im Young-woong will provide tangible assistance and hope to these children. We will continue to practice the value of sharing in the future."
Since its establishment in 2020, Im Hero Supporters has donated over 300 million won in the name of Im Young-woong to help those in need.
Milal Welfare Foundation, founded in 1993, is a specialized organization dedicated to the welfare of people with disabilities, aiming for their complete social integration through various welfare projects. In addition to supporting medical expenses for disabled children, the foundation operates special schools, vocational rehabilitation facilities, and community living facilities to enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
Im Young-woong is set to hold his solo concert 'Im Young-woong Recital (RE:CITAL)' starting December 27, 2024.
