ILLIT Wins First Music Show Trophy After Comeback

The girl group ILLIT (윤아, 민주, 모카, 원희, 이로하) has claimed their first music show trophy following their comeback. On June 27, they secured the top spot on KBS2's Music Bank with their title track '빌려온 고양이 (Do the Dance)' from their mini-album 'bomb'.

Thank you for your unwavering support." During their encore stage, the group showcased their impressive live vocals and delighted fans by drawing cat whiskers as part of their winning promise.
ILLIT's captivating performance of '빌려온 고양이 (Do the Dance)' was mesmerizing, enhanced by accessories like cat ear headbands and paw-shaped gloves that added to their charming feline concept. Their dynamic choreography and refreshing expressions further engaged the audience.
With their mini-album 'bomb', ILLIT is breaking records and establishing their presence in the industry. The album has surpassed 400,000 copies in first-week sales in South Korea, topping both the Hanteo and Circle Chart weekly album rankings. In Japan, it exceeded the first-week sales of their previous release on its debut day, achieving second place on the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking and Billboard Japan's Top Album Sales.
The title track is also climbing the music charts. '빌려온 고양이 (Do the Dance)' entered Melon's Top 100 at number 76 on its release day and has steadily risen to 41st place as of June 27 at 11 PM. It also dominated Apple Music Korea's Top 100 for six consecutive days from June 18 to 23.
Additionally, ILLIT is captivating fans with diverse content related to their title track. On June 27, they released four remix versions of '빌려온 고양이 (Do the Dance)' globally. They also unveiled a visualizer on their official YouTube channel, featuring a unicorn cat that enhances the dreamy atmosphere of the song's music video.
