ILLIT Surprises Fans with Comeback Teaser at 2025 Weverse Con Festival

The K-pop group ILLIT made a stunning return at the 2025 Weverse Con Festival, held on May 31 at the Inspire Entertainment Resort in Incheon, where they unveiled a comeback teaser that sent global fans into a frenzy.

ILLIT, consisting of members YoonA, MinJu, MoKa, WonHee, and IroHa, performed a total of six songs during their set. As soon as they took the stage, the venue erupted with cheers from the audience. They kicked off the performance with the lively track 'Tick-Tack' from their second mini-album, instantly elevating the atmosphere. Following this, they showcased their charming appeal with songs like 'IYKYK (If You Know You Know)' and 'I’ll Like You,' raising the excitement levels among fans.

Reflecting on their performance, ILLIT shared, "This is our second time at Weverse Con. Last year, I was so nervous, but this year I felt a bit more relaxed. Thanks to all the support, we were able to enjoy the stage more. We appreciate it!"

The group's enhanced live performance skills and stage presence were evident. They kept the audience engaged with their infectious music and energetic performances, particularly during 'Magnetic' and 'Cherish (My Love).' A standout moment occurred during their rendition of 'Almond Chocolate (Korean Ver.)' when WonHee hit a stunning high note, prompting an immediate roar of applause from the crowd. The members also connected with fans through eye contact and interaction throughout their set.

The highlight of the event was a sneak peek of their upcoming mini-album 'bomb,' set to release on June 16. ILLIT teased the title track '빌려온 고양이 (Do the Dance)' by revealing a portion of its choreography, asking fans to stay tuned for more details about their new concept. After their final performance, the lights dimmed, and a mysterious comeback teaser featuring the silhouettes of the five members was unexpectedly revealed, causing an explosion of reactions both in the venue and online.

Additionally, ILLIT showcased a unique side by covering BoA's debut song 'ID; Peace B' as part of the tribute stage at this year's Weverse Con. They perfectly recreated the long hair styling and outfits from the original performance, receiving enthusiastic responses. Their precise dance moves and powerful vocal ad-libs highlighted the emotional essence of the original track, demonstrating their wide-ranging talent.

Ahead of their mini-album release, ILLIT will hold their first fan concert, '2025 ILLIT GLITTER DAY IN SEOUL,' on July 7-8 at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul, where they will meet with fans.
