Iikyeong, Haha, and Joo Woojae Bond Over Personal Stories in 'Hangnim Mwohani?'

In the latest episode of MBC's 'Hangnim Mwohani?' aired on January 30, 2025, Iikyeong invited Haha and Joo Woojae to Inje, Gangwon Province, sharing his desire to explore local eateries and hot spots. He expressed, "We talked about wanting to travel together, but it ended up being a separate show, leading to the creation of 'Hangnim Mwohani?' instead of 'Nolmyeon Mwohani?'"

During an interview with the production team, Iikyeong revealed, "I've always felt comfortable being alone since childhood, and I got used to traveling solo. However, I've started to feel the need to travel with someone else." He reminisced about spending his birthday alone in Japan two years ago, stating, "The only brothers I have are the members of 'Nolmyeon.' Haha is like me, while Woojae is completely different. I want to know them better, but I always feel a bit of a gap."

The trio braved a chilling -24°C wind chill as they hiked through a birch forest in Inje, strengthening their friendship along the way. Haha humorously suggested naming their future daughters after each other, saying, "If you have a daughter, name her Juhai or Ihaju. If I have a fourth child, I’ll name them Haiju."

Iikyeong also video-called Yoo Jae-suk, who was filming 'Nolmyeon Mwohani?' in Seoul. Concerned, Yoo asked, "Where are you guys in this cold weather?" He then teased Woojae, saying, "You look like a birch tree!"

Initially planning to treat his older brothers to a trout sashimi restaurant, Iikyeong found it closed due to frozen water. Instead, they enjoyed buckwheat snacks and later feasted on grilled pollack and pollack stew, with even the picky-eater Joo Woojae satisfied. They shared heartfelt conversations over some makgeolli.

When asked why he travels alone, Iikyeong explained, "People say that once you get older and marry, you lose yourself. I love wandering alone, so I wonder how long I can keep this up. After my military service, I spent a month alone in Thailand, and I enjoyed it. I also like going to gyms abroad."

Haha shared his travel style, saying, "No matter how much I drink the night before, I feel proud when I jog and play with the guys." Joo Woojae added, "I usually return to my accommodation early when traveling. I buy snacks from convenience stores and watch Netflix in my robe until 1 AM—it feels like just 10 minutes!"

Their next destination was Sokcho, where Iikyeong insisted on experiencing the Ferris wheel together. Despite Haha's fear of heights, he mustered the courage for Iikyeong. The three enjoyed their time in Sokcho, gazing at the sea as the sun set before heading to Daepo Port.

Iikyeong shared a personal story about how Yoo Jae-suk has been a guiding figure in his life, recounting a time when he faced criticism after drinking before filming. Haha chimed in with a humorous incident about being late to a recording, which left him feeling terrified.

The episode took an emotional turn when Iikyeong spoke about his mother, who recently underwent heart surgery. He shared, "My mother is doing well after the surgery, and she was so happy to sleep without discomfort. I learned that my father took her to Thailand for recovery after the surgery, which made me emotional."
