ICHILLIN Makes a Stunning Comeback with New Single 'Prequel'

The girl group ICHILLIN is set to make a grand return with their latest release, showcasing their evolved charm. On November 22, the group will drop their seventh digital single, 'Prequel', across various music streaming platforms, marking a vibrant comeback for their global fanbase.

This comeback comes approximately eight months after the release of their third mini-album, 'Feelin' Hot', in March. 'Prequel' encapsulates the diverse musical spectrum that ICHILLIN is known for, presenting their appeal in an unfiltered manner.

The title track, 'Official', blends the classic elements of house music with fresh, trendy sounds, creating an exciting rhythm infused with a hint of mysterious emotion. While 'Official' carries the literal meaning of 'formal', it also conveys the idea that such a state can change at any moment, encouraging listeners to discover novelty amidst the monotony of everyday life.

Notably, the song features lyrics by Jeong Ha-ri, known for her work on SHINee's 'I Really Want You', NCT 127's 'Breakfast', and TOMORROW X TOGETHER's 'Danger'. The composition is crafted by Maynine, who has previously worked on Red Velvet's 'On A Ride' and DRIPPIN's 'Beautiful MAZE', alongside Perrie, who has collaborated with various artists including IVE and STAYC, enhancing the song's overall quality.

In addition to 'Official', 'Prequel' includes four tracks that highlight ICHILLIN's musical growth: 'Intro', showcasing Juni's unique vocals and rapping; 'Miami', which offers a dreamy yet bold vibe; and an extended instrumental version of 'Official'.

Members are also expanding their horizons with individual projects, such as Lee Ji's acting debut in the web drama 'Just a Finger Flick' and Juni's impactful appearance in the Tving original variety show 'RAP:PUBLIC'.
