Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin Donate 300 Million Won to Help Sick Children

Actors Hyun Bin (현빈) and Son Ye-jin (손예진) have made a generous donation of 300 million won to support sick children. According to VAST Entertainment, Hyun Bin's agency, the couple contributed 150 million won each to the pediatric and obstetrics departments of Asan Medical Center and Samsung Medical Center.
In a heartfelt statement, they expressed, "We feel immense gratitude for the opportunity to help others and wish to share our warmth with those who are enduring difficult times right now." They added, "Every time I see my healthy child, I can't help but feel a sense of guilt thinking about those who are not as fortunate. We hope that sick children can return to their joyful selves and illuminate the world with their health."
Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin, both born in 1982, tied the knot in March 2022 and welcomed their son in November of the same year. Hyun Bin recently connected with audiences through his film 'Harbin' (하얼빈), which premiered on December 24, while Son Ye-jin is currently filming Park Chan-wook's new movie 'Can't Help It' (어쩔수가없다).
This is not the first time the couple has contributed to charitable causes; last January, they donated 150 million won to support pediatric patients and single-parent families. At that time, Son Ye-jin remarked, "In these challenging times, we hope our donation serves as a warm Christmas gift to children who are in desperate need of help."
Additionally, they donated 200 million won to assist residents affected by the devastating wildfires along the East Coast in 2022.
