Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin Make Generous Donations to Hospitals in New Year
Hyun Bin (현빈) and Son Ye Jin (손예진) have started the new year by sharing heartwarming news. Continuing their charitable efforts from 2023, the couple has made significant contributions to support those in need across society. They announced a total donation of 300 million KRW, with 150 million KRW each going to Asan Medical Center (아산병원) and Samsung Medical Center (삼성병원) for their pediatric and obstetrics departments.
In their statement, the couple expressed their gratitude for being able to help others, saying, "We feel a deep sense of appreciation for the opportunity to assist someone in need, and we wish to share our hearts, even if just a little." They added, "Every time I see my child growing up healthy, I can't help but feel an inexplicable guilt when I think of children who are not as fortunate. I hope that sick children can return to their innocent selves and shine brightly in the world."
The donations will be utilized at Asan Medical Center to treat patients from challenging backgrounds, while the funds at Samsung Medical Center will support initiatives in pediatrics and obstetrics.
