Hye-eun Reflects on Difficult Times in Recent KBS Show

On April 14, during the broadcast of KBS 2TV's 'Living Together with Park Won-sook' (박원숙의 같이 삽시다), Hye-eun shared her memories of challenging times in her life. The episode featured Park Won-sook, Hye-eun, Hong Jin-hee, and Yoon Da-hoon living together on Ganghwa Island. Hye-eun described the experience as 'a new world for me.'

Previously, Hye-eun was married to Kim Dong-hyun in 1990, with whom she had a son and a daughter, but they divorced in 2019. Reports indicate that Hye-eun faced financial struggles due to Kim's repeated business failures, and she reportedly paid off 20 billion won on his behalf.

Park Won-sook commented on Hye-eun's long career as a top star, stating, 'She has lived as a top star for decades. The world was easier for her, which is why she faced these challenges. She should have struggled and learned when she was younger.'

In response to Hong Jin-hee's question about her own experiences, Park Won-sook reflected, 'I was too self-centered and unaware. I really didn’t understand the world. I thought I was doing well, but I realized my mistakes quickly.'
