Hwasa's Former Mamamoo Member Wheein Discusses Her Current Status on 'The Seasons - Lee Young-ji's Rainbow'

On the February 14 episode of KBS2TV's 'The Seasons - Lee Young-ji's Rainbow', Wheein, a former member of Mamamoo, shared updates about her current situation as a free agent. She revealed that she is currently without a management company, stating, "I'm in an uncontracted state," and humorously added, "The good thing is the financial aspect, ALL MY MONEY." Lee Young-ji responded with a laugh, noting that it sounded a bit materialistic. Wheein also mentioned the challenges she faces, saying, "I have to rely solely on my own efforts; without support, I even have to rent my own car."
When asked what kind of company she is looking for in the free agency market, Wheein expressed her desire for a workplace that respects work-life balance, emphasizing, "Taking breaks is important for mental health."
Lee Young-ji chimed in, saying, "If I were a talent scout, I would definitely keep an eye on Wheein. We need to know how far her versatility can go." In response to inquiries about her musical range, Wheein humbly stated, "I do well in R&B and occasionally rap, though I'm not at a professional level. I also do a lot of band music."
