Hwang Kwanghee Publicly Apologizes to Jung Haein on Good Day
On the February 23 episode of MBC's variety show Good Day (굿데이), Hwang Kwanghee (황광희) made a public apology to actor Jung Haein (정해인). Kwanghee arrived first, being a long-time fan of GD, and was soon joined by Jung Haein, who greeted him shyly. It turned out that the two were meeting for the first time, and they exchanged polite greetings, bringing smiles to the audience.
During the show, Kwanghee expressed concern that his previous comments might have upset Jung Haein. He recalled a past incident on the show Pinggye (핑계고), where he had shown jealousy towards Im Siwan (임시완) for traveling with Jung Haein, and had mentioned on air that he had gone with Jung Haein. Kwanghee later took to social media to apologize for his casual remarks.
He hesitated, asking Jung Haein, "Did I make you feel bad?" to which Jung Haein responded, "Not at all! I appreciate you mentioning it on the show." Jung Haein also shared that he had heard about Kwanghee from Im Siwan, which delighted Kwanghee.
Coincidentally, Im Siwan arrived shortly after, having been introduced to Jung Haein by Kim Soo-hyun (김수현). Kwanghee joked with Jung Haein, saying, "We finally met today; we’re friends now, right?" Im Siwan chimed in, encouraging them to drop the formalities, to which Kwanghee humorously replied, "I didn’t know you would be the bridge for us to speak casually!"
