Singer Hwang Chi Yeul is set to make a comeback with his new album, 'ALL OF ME (올 오브 미)', which encapsulates his artistic journey. His agency, 10Two Entertainment, revealed the tracklist for his third studio album today (February 12). The album features a total of 10 high-quality tracks, including the title song '웃기는 소리 같겠지만' (It May Sound Funny), along with '너 없는 영화관에서' (In the Movie Theater Without You), '노을' (Sunset), '터져 나올 것 같지만' (It Seems Like It Will Burst), '밤하늘에' (In the Night Sky), '마침내' (Finally), '7102', '잘하고 있어' (You're Doing Well), '익숙함에 속았나 봐' (I Guess I Was Deceived by Familiarity), and '아름다운 꿈' (Beautiful Dream). 

In line with the album's title, Hwang Chi Yeul has poured his heart and soul into this project, participating in the production and songwriting for all tracks. Notably, he also composed '밤하늘에' and '아름다운 꿈'. This marks his first studio album in about six years, showcasing his unique style and personality. 

Hwang Chi Yeul has previously captivated audiences with his powerful vocals in songs like '매일 듣는 노래' (A Song I Listen to Every Day), '되돌리고 싶다' (I Want to Turn Back), '별, 그대' (Star, You), and '그대가 내 안에 박혔다' (You Are Embedded in Me). Fans are eagerly anticipating the emotional impact of his new music in this upcoming release. 

'ALL OF ME' will be released on February 27 at 6 PM, with pre-orders starting on February 13 at 3 PM across various music platforms.

Dr. Na Jong-ho, an assistant professor of psychiatry at Yale University, spoke out regarding the tragic murder of 8-year-old Kim Ha-neul by a teacher in Daejeon. He emphasized that 'the crime lies with the perpetrator, not with depression.' In a Facebook post titled 'Depression is Not a Crime,' Dr. Na, who graduated from Seoul National University and has appeared on the tvN show 'You Quiz on the Block,' expressed concern over the media's focus on the teacher's history of depression during this sensitive time. He stated that such coverage could reinforce the stigma surrounding mental health issues, potentially deterring those in need from seeking help, which could worsen South Korea's mental health crisis. Dr. Na highlighted that the treatment rate for depression in South Korea remains alarmingly low at just 10%, meaning that 9 out of 10 individuals do not receive adequate care.

As a father of a daughter the same age as the victim, Dr. Na described the incident as heart-wrenching and expressed his condolences to the victim's family, hoping they receive the support they need. According to the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service, the number of depression patients in South Korea rose from 691,164 in 2017 to 933,481 in 2021, a 35.1% increase. However, the treatment rate remains the lowest among OECD countries, with only 11% of individuals receiving care compared to 66% in the United States. Experts attribute this low rate to the negative perception of mental health treatment and the belief that individuals should overcome depression on their own.

On February 10, Kim Ha-neul was found fatally injured in a school audiovisual room, having been stabbed. The police responded to a report of a missing child and discovered her unconscious in a storage area. Despite being rushed to the hospital, she did not survive. The teacher, identified as A (48), was also found injured and later confessed to the attack, indicating that she had intended to harm students indiscriminately. A knife was recovered from the scene, and it was revealed that the teacher had purchased it with the intent to commit the crime and take her own life.

The popular K-pop group INFINITE has officially begun the countdown to their full group comeback. On February 12 at midnight, their agency, INFINITE Company, revealed the comeback scheduler for INFINITE's (김성규, 장동우, 남우현, 이성열, 엘, 이성종) eighth mini album titled 'LIKE INFINITE' through their official social media channels.

According to the schedule, the tracklist for 'LIKE INFINITE' will be unveiled on February 14, followed by a comeback trailer on February 17. Since December of last year, INFINITE has been meeting fans worldwide through their 15th-anniversary concert series 'LIMITED EDITION'. After successful shows in Seoul, Taipei, Macau, Jakarta, and Singapore, they will continue their tour in Yokohama, Japan on February 15 and 16, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on February 22, and Hong Kong on March 1. KBS has faced criticism following the controversy surrounding the damage to the historic Byeongsan Seowon during the filming of its new drama, '남주의 첫날밤을 가져버렸다' (The Male Lead's First Night). In a meeting held on February 3, KBS disclosed that the filming crew had used nails at the cultural site, leading to public outcry. Kim Young-jo, head of the KBS Drama Center, expressed deep regret over the incident, stating, "We sincerely apologize for the damage to the cultural heritage and will strive to prevent such occurrences in the future." 

During the meeting, Kim acknowledged the lack of a prompt response on January 2, attributing it to confusion among the team. He explained, "Our props team was understandably frightened, and while they attempted to provide accurate information, we needed to verify the facts ourselves. There was significant chaos that day, and we regret the delay in addressing the situation."

Kim further elaborated on the challenges faced by the production team, citing the demanding nature of filming schedules, limited budgets, and the constraints of the 52-hour workweek. He noted, "The reality is that the production process for dramas carries a high risk of accidents."

He also pointed out that due to insufficient TV license fees, many programs lack assistant directors, and in this particular drama, there was only one KBS staff member present on set. This shortage of personnel contributed to the inadequate handling of the situation, especially with many freelancers involved who may not have been fully aware of the protocols.

Kim committed to enhancing training for external staff to prevent future incidents and requested understanding of KBS's current dire circumstances. 

The controversy first came to light on January 2 when architect Min Seo-hong shared on social media that the filming crew had damaged Byeongsan Seowon. KBS later acknowledged that the production team had received prior filming permission but faced complaints from onlookers about the use of nails on the cultural site. KBS expressed its regret over the seriousness of the situation. 

Following the incident, Andong City filed a complaint against KBS for cultural heritage damage and requested the complete destruction of all footage filmed at Byeongsan Seowon. KBS has decided to discard all footage from the filming at the site, and on February 7, the Andong police referred three members of the props team to the prosecution for violating laws related to the preservation and utilization of cultural heritage.

The K-pop girl group IVE has expressed their condolences by sending a wreath to the funeral of 8-year-old Kim Ha-neul, who tragically lost her life at the hands of a female teacher in Daejeon. It has been reported that Kim was a devoted fan of IVE. On February 12, IVE's agency confirmed that they sent the wreath to Kim's funeral at the Konyang University Hospital in Daejeon the previous day.

In a media interview, Kim's father shared that her dream was to meet Jang Won-young, a member of IVE. He recalled how Kim had asked for a photo card of Jang as a birthday gift and would stay up late to watch any program featuring her. He expressed a heartfelt request for IVE representatives to send a warm message to his daughter as she embarks on her final journey.

Upon learning of Kim's father's interview, IVE promptly sent a photo card along with the wreath to convey their sympathies.

Meanwhile, the teacher involved, referred to as A, had taken a leave of absence due to mental health issues in early December last year but returned to work less than a month later, presenting a doctor's note stating she was fit to resume her duties. However, on February 6, she exhibited violent behavior by injuring a colleague who was checking on her.

On the day of the incident, February 10, the Daejeon City Office of Education sent an inspector to the school to investigate and recommended that A be separated from the students. Unfortunately, this recommendation was not acted upon. Later that day, A lured Kim out of her classroom and fatally attacked her in an audiovisual room.

After the incident, A inflicted self-harm and is currently receiving treatment in a hospital. Authorities plan to arrest her once she recovers to investigate the motives behind her actions, and they are also considering the public disclosure of her personal information.

K-pop superstar G-DRAGON is set to host his long-awaited world tour concerts in Korea this March. The presenting partner, Coupang Play, announced on February 11 that the 'G-DRAGON 2025 World Tour 'Webermanche' in Korea' will take place on March 29 and 30 at the Goyang Sports Complex.
