Husband's Harsh Words to Struggling Wife on MBC's 'Marriage Hell'

In the latest episode of MBC's reality show '오은영 리포트-결혼 지옥' (Oh Eun-young Report: Marriage Hell), a couple known as the 'Training Couple' faced serious issues as the husband directed harsh comments towards his wife, who is struggling with the challenges of raising three children and battling depression.
The episode aired on June 9, featuring a wife who, after two years of sending in her story, finally decided to appear on the show. She expressed, 'We often have big fights but then manage to get along, which feels repetitive.' The husband added, 'I told her to do as she wishes. There are issues, but I think things have improved compared to before.'
Their daily life was revealed, showcasing the husband’s constant interference and disregard for his wife’s autonomy, even going as far as inspecting the refrigerator. Viewers were shocked to see him ordering his wife to make even minor decisions at a restaurant.
The couple is raising three children, with their eldest diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. The wife shared her overwhelming experience, stating, 'I feel mentally exhausted from raising the kids. I know I shouldn’t, but I find myself getting angry at our second child, as I have certain expectations.'
She confessed, 'There are times when I feel like our first child is a burden. My anxiety is increasing, and when I reach my breaking point, my husband dismisses it, saying I can handle more. He seems to dislike my vulnerability.'
In a shocking moment, when the wife mentioned having thoughts of death, the husband responded with cruel remarks, saying, 'Are you kidding? You want to give up? You have three kids you gave birth to. Is that what a mother does? That's embarrassing.' After watching the footage, the husband expressed his surprise, stating, 'I was shocked to see myself saying those things while drunk. I don’t remember it.'
The wife revealed that her depression worsened to the point where she needed medication, which she stopped after the birth of their third child. The husband claimed he was unaware of her struggles, believing she had improved since she stopped visiting the hospital and taking medication.
