Huening Kai Donates to Support Victims of Jeju Air Incident

Huening Kai, a member of the K-pop group Tomorrow X Together (투모로우바이투게더), has made a generous donation of 50 million won to assist victims of the recent Jeju Air passenger plane accident. The Korean Red Cross announced on January 3, 2025, that the donation was made on January 1, with the intention of helping the affected families return to a stable daily life. Huening Kai expressed his desire to provide support, stating, "I felt great sadness and sorrow upon hearing the news of the sudden accident. I decided to donate in hopes of offering even a small amount of help to the bereaved families. I extend my condolences and deep sympathy to all those who are grieving." The funds will be used to support families facing difficulties due to the incident and to aid in recovery efforts. Following the accident, the Korean Red Cross has mobilized volunteers, staff, and psychological counselors to provide emergency relief and psychological support at the scene. They are also conducting a nationwide fundraising campaign to assist the families of the victims through a dedicated website and account.
