H.O.T to Reunite After Six Years for Special Performance

The legendary first-generation idol group H.O.T is set to reunite after six years. On July 23, Hanteo Global announced that H.O.T will headline the Hanteo Music Festival, taking place on September 6-7 at the Seoul World Cup Stadium. This performance marks their first full group concert since their show at the Gocheok Sky Dome in September 2019. The group will deliver a solo performance lasting over 60 minutes, making it a significant event, especially since September 7 coincides with the 29th anniversary of their debut.

H.O.T, consisting of members Moon Hee-jun (문희준), Jang Woo-hyuk (장우혁), Tony An (토니안), Kangta (강타), and Lee Jae-won (이재원), debuted in 1996 with the hit song 'Warrior's Descendant' (전사의 후예). They quickly rose to fame with other popular tracks like 'Candy' (캔디), 'Happiness' (행복), 'Wolf and Sheep' (늑대와양), 'We Are the Future' (위 아더 퓨처), and 'I Yah' (아이야). Although the group disbanded after their final concert on February 27, 2001, they made headlines when they reunited for the MBC show 'Infinite Challenge' (무한도전) during the 'ToToGa3' project in 2018. Since then, H.O.T has held sold-out concerts at the Jamsil Olympic Stadium and Gocheok Sky Dome, showcasing their enduring popularity.
