Hong Seok-cheon Raises Awareness About Drug Dangers

On January 4, 2025, broadcaster Hong Seok-cheon took to his social media to issue a warning about the dangers of drugs, posting "No Drug Nodrug." He expressed concern over the reckless behavior at parties, stating, "Is this why we go to parties? People getting dragged out while under the influence. Some even die from this. Young friends, please avoid overseas parties." Along with his message, he shared a screenshot from a video showing a man appearing to be intoxicated and being pulled away by others. Hong's post seems to be a cautionary note aimed at those who may not fully understand the risks of drug exposure at international parties. Notably, Hong Seok-cheon is recognized as the first openly gay entertainer in South Korea, having debuted in 1995 through KBS's College Comedy Festival and has since been active in various television programs.
