On the February 26 episode of MBC's Radio Star (라디오스타), Hong Jin-ho opened up about the intense stress he experienced while participating in the survival reality show Blood Game (피의 게임). The episode featured guests including Jang Dong-min, Hong Jin-ho, Pani Bottle, and Heo Seong-beom, focusing on the theme 'Survival People, Blood Players.' Jang Dong-min humorously noted that he has become the most frequent guest on the show, saying, 'There are many binge-watchers of Radio Star, and they seem to enjoy various segments.'

Returning as a married man after two years, Hong Jin-ho shared, 'During my last appearance, I was secretly preparing for my wedding. It was around the time when Lady Jane was getting married, and when Gura mentioned her, I inadvertently revealed that I was also getting married.'

He also disclosed the toll that participating in Blood Game took on his health, mentioning that he suffered from alopecia areata and had to receive injections in his scalp. Additionally, he revealed that he underwent surgery for a pneumothorax, stating, 'My child was born on November 4, and I had the pneumothorax surgery the following day on November 5,' which left everyone astonished.
