Hitman 2 Unveils Character Posters Ahead of Release

The highly anticipated film 'Hitman 2' is set to kick off the new year with laughter, showcasing the return of Kwon Sang-woo in a comedic action role. The movie has released five character posters featuring the beloved team, Hitman, along with a new addition to the cast.
'Hitman 2' (written and directed by Choi Won-seop, produced by By4M Studio and Berry Good Studio) follows the story of 'Jun', a once-successful writer who quickly falls from grace to become a 'brain-dead writer'. After a terrorist incident mimicking his new webtoon, he finds himself wrongfully accused and embroiled in a comedic action adventure.
The newly released character posters highlight the exciting return of the Hitman team, promising a blend of humor and charisma. The heroine, 'Jun', is depicted holding a 4B pencil, a symbol of his determination, with a tagline hinting at his comeback as an assassin. This suggests a significant crisis ahead, awakening his legendary assassin instincts as he prepares for intense action.
Alongside him, 'Deok-kyu' and 'Cheol' showcase their loyal yet comical personalities, ready to support 'Jun' while maintaining their quirky charm. 'Mina', 'Jun's wife and a museum curator, returns with a fierce presence, teasing viewers with her sharp wit and enhanced action skills.
Lastly, the new character 'Pierre Zhang' makes a striking impression, raising curiosity about the tension he will bring to the Hitman team.
With its unique visuals and captivating character dynamics, 'Hitman 2' is set to hit theaters nationwide on January 22, 2025.
