According to the integrated ticket sales network, the film attracted a total of 2,000,034 viewers by the specified time. This rapid success outpaces the recent hit film Firefighters (소방관), which reached 3.85 million viewers, by two days, and Willy Wonka (웡카), which garnered 3.53 million viewers, by three days.
The film's cast, including 권상우, 이이경, 황우슬혜, 이지원, and 이준혁, along with director 최원섭, have actively promoted the movie, even kneeling during stage greetings to engage with fans. With such strong audience support, the film is expected to maintain its long-term success in theaters throughout February.
Hitman 2 revolves around a once-popular webtoon writer, 준, who finds himself embroiled in chaos when a terrorist mimics his new webtoon, leading to his wrongful accusation as the perpetrator. The film is currently enjoying a successful theatrical run.
