Harbin Surpasses 2 Million Viewers in Just 5 Days

The highly anticipated film '하얼빈' (Harbin), produced by CJ ENM and Hive Media Corp, has achieved a remarkable milestone by surpassing 2 million viewers just five days after its release. As of December 28, 2024, at 5:56 PM, the film's cumulative audience reached this impressive figure, showcasing its strong presence in theaters during the year-end and New Year season. This rapid success outpaces that of the blockbuster '서울의 봄' (Spring in Seoul), which reached the same milestone in six days, and matches the pace of '아바타: 물의 길' (Avatar: The Way of Water).
The film's popularity is further highlighted by a celebratory video featuring the cast and director, including Hyun Bin (현빈), Jo Woo-jin (조우진), Jeon Yeo-been (전여빈), Park Hoon (박훈), and director Woo Min-ho (우민호). In the video, Hyun Bin expresses gratitude to the 2 million viewers, emphasizing the strong camaraderie among the team. Additionally, actor Park Jung-min (박정민), who is currently filming in another location, shared a thank-you message for the audience. The actors, known for their strong on-screen chemistry, will also participate in stage greetings this weekend.
Set in 1909, '하얼빈' (Harbin) depicts a tense chase filled with suspicion between those heading to Harbin for a common goal and those pursuing them.
