'Harbin' Continues to Dominate Box Office in Fourth Week

'하얼빈' (Harbin), directed by Woo Min-ho and distributed by CJ ENM, is maintaining impressive ticket sales even in its fourth week of release. As of January 12, 2025, the film has achieved a real-time reservation rate of 14.3%, ranking first among new releases and second overall in ticket sales. Despite being nearly a month since its premiere, it remains a top contender at the box office.
The film's box office performance is remarkable. On January 11, 'Harbin' attracted 134,708 viewers across 1,247 screens, bringing its total audience count to 4,062,055 and securing the number one spot at the box office. In comparison, the second-place film, 'Firefighter,' drew only 37,603 viewers, showcasing 'Harbin's' dominance with over three times the audience.
Additionally, according to the integrated ticket sales system, 'Harbin' surpassed the 4 million mark on January 11, marking a significant milestone. The film has held the top position at the box office for 19 consecutive days and has been the most reserved film for 28 days straight, solidifying its status as the first major hit of 2025.
Previously, 'Harbin' reached 1 million viewers in just two days, 2 million in five days, and 3 million in nine days, finally crossing the 4 million threshold. It now ranks among the top five highest-grossing Korean films of 2024, alongside titles like 'The Burial,' 'Crime City 4,' 'Veteran 2,' and 'Pilot.'
