Hanhae Showcases His Wine Collection on MBC's 'Point of Omniscient Interference'

On the February 22 episode of MBC's entertainment program 'Point of Omniscient Interference' (전지적 참견 시점), Hanhae made an appearance alongside Moon Se-yoon, showcasing his transformation into a ballad singer. Recently moved into a new home, Hanhae revealed a spacious wine room filled with wine maps and books. He shared that he is currently studying for the Level 3 sommelier certification, having already taken the highest level exam available in Korea, with results pending due to the lengthy grading process from the UK headquarters.
Hanhae expressed pride in his growing reputation, stating, "I receive many requests to judge various wine competitions held in Korea. There’s a popular manga called 'God's Drop' (신의 물방울) that wine enthusiasts love. The author visited Korea and requested to meet the six most influential wine influencers, and I was invited to a private dinner with him."
During the episode, Hanhae showcased four wine cellars in his home, all filled with bottles ranging in price from 7,000 KRW to 3 million KRW. He estimated his collection to be between 300 to 400 bottles. Panelist Song Eun-yi remarked on the shift in his collection, noting, "You used to have a lot of mid-range wines, but now it seems you've made quite a bit of money. How many Châteaux do you have?"
Hanhae explained, "I tend to keep the expensive bottles in visible spots while the mid-range ones are placed where they are less noticeable. I usually drink the cheaper ones. The Châteaux are more for decoration. Since wine is my only hobby, it’s a form of self-satisfaction for me."
When asked about the most expensive wine in his collection, Hanhae revealed, "The priciest bottle costs between 5 to 6 million KRW," leaving the panel in awe.
Later in the episode, Hanhae weighed himself as part of his morning routine, revealing a weight gain of 9 kg, bringing him to 87.6 kg. The panelists offered supportive comments, saying, "As long as you're happy, that's what matters," and joked about needing to lose 1 kg for his clothes.
