Han Hye-jin Charms Viewers with Surprise Appearance on 'Tralala Traveling Troupe'

Singer Han Hye-jin captivated audiences with her down-to-earth charm during her surprise guest appearance on TV Chosun's 'Tralala Traveling Troupe' on December 13. Set in Anseong's Yeomti Village, which holds sentimental value for fellow cast member An Seong-hoon, the episode featured a kimjang (kimchi-making) mission. Disguised as a local resident, Han donned a red vest, floral pants, and glasses to support An Seong-hoon.
While attempting to demonstrate the kimjang process, Han's clumsy efforts raised suspicions among the troupe members. In a twist, An Seong-hoon requested a song, prompting Han to perform her hit 'You Are My Man,' revealing her identity and surprising everyone.
Reflecting on her experience, Han shared, "I tried to alter my voice since it’s quite distinctive, and I was nervous about being discovered. I had never made kimchi before, so I learned how to do it through videos for this occasion, but I think I learned it wrong." She expressed her admiration for An Seong-hoon, stating, "He was a junior I supported since his early days. I always believed he would succeed, and I even recommended he participate in 'Mr. Trot 2.' I'm thrilled to see him achieve his dreams."
As the kimjang process commenced, Han took on the role of sprinkling salt on the cabbage, showcasing an enthusiastic performance that brought laughter. The competition escalated with a rap battle for a chance to win a feast featuring Anseong soup and various meat dishes, where Han displayed her competitive spirit and wit, ultimately defeating Park Seong-on.
The episode also featured a special live performance for the local residents. With a snack cart prepared by An Seong-hoon, Han and the troupe members performed Yoon Soo-il's 'Apartment,' energizing the crowd, followed by her iconic song 'Brown Memories.'
Han described 'Brown Memories' as a song that reminds her of her father, expressing gratitude by saying, "If my father hadn’t supported this song, I wouldn’t be where I am today. He sold his orchard to help promote it." Her powerful vocals and deep emotional delivery left a lasting impression on the audience.
