Han Ga-in Shares Her Dating Experience on 'Free Woman Han Ga-in'

On December 19, Han Ga-in opened up about her past dating experiences during an episode of the online show 'Free Woman Han Ga-in'. The episode, titled 'Comedy Makeup Han Ga-in VS Full Makeup Lee Soo-ji, Epic Charm Battle (2-on-2 Blind Date)', featured Han Ga-in waiting for comedian Lee Soo-ji. While Han Ga-in dressed as Lee Soo-ji's alter ego 'Lin Zhao Ming', Lee Soo-ji parodied Han Ga-in's character from the film 'Maljukgeori Gajoksa', bringing laughter to the audience.

During the show, Lee Soo-ji reminisced about a time when a beautiful student frequently visited a tteokbokki shop near their homes, revealing that it was Han Ga-in. Although they lived in the same neighborhood, they attended different schools and never crossed paths during their school years.

After receiving character coaching from Lee Soo-ji, Han Ga-in prepared for a 2-on-2 blind date skit. She shared, "I only went on one blind date in college. I think my friend who came with me liked me and set it up."

Lee Soo-ji then asked, "In that 2-on-2 setup, didn’t both guys actually like you?" Han Ga-in replied, "That’s a bit ambiguous," prompting Lee Soo-ji to inquire if the date was successful. Han Ga-in surprised everyone by stating, "At that time, I had a boyfriend." She added, "My boyfriend was in the military, and I honestly told him I wanted to try a blind date once I got to college," which elicited laughter from the audience.

In her personal life, Han Ga-in married actor Yeon Jung-hoon in 2005, who is four years her senior. The couple has a daughter and a son. Han Ga-in also shared insights about her eldest daughter, stating, "She is indeed smart. She memorizes everything after seeing it once and reads books all day. She’s already speed reading. I thought she was just clever, but at 40 months, she could read both Korean and English," adding, "I never taught her how to read. I thought about taking her to an institution, but she scored in the 1% range," which sparked considerable interest.
